Top 5 Comedies You Need To See

Comedies are always a great choice if you’re not sure on which genre to pick for the movie night.

If you are mad, they will turn your anger to happiness.

If you are sad, comedies will brighten your day.

If you feel sick…

...well, at least being sick will be more entertaining.

(FunFact: the word comedy comes from Greek, “kōmōidía”)

These Top 5 comedies will make you smile broader than other movies:

(You can rent or buy them by clicking the titles!)

This movie is number 2 of the series of three, and it is about Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy), a detroit cop who travels to Beverly Hills in order to help Taggart (John Ashton) and Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) investigate Chief Bogomil’s almost fatal shooting episode. Throughout this movie you will laugh many times, not only because of Axel Foley’s laugh, but mainly because he is a true comedian talent. If you haven’t seen this movie, I strongly recommend you to do so.

A loyal and dedicated inspector from Hong Kong teams up with a loudmouthed and reckless LAPD detective, and their mission is to rescue the Chinese Consul’s kidnapped daughter which has a good relationship with inspector Lee (Jackie Chan). When Chris Tucker is starring in a movie, you know it will be a good comedy. The way Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker fulfill each other’s roles are the main reason for why this comedy is great.

Ron Burgundy is the top-rated anchorman in San Diego in a male-dominated broadcasting industry of the 1970s. However, that is about to change as an ambitious woman is hired as a new anchor. If you haven’t seen this movie yet – shame on you.

An overprotective but loving dad and his family are going to visit his daughter at Stanford over the holidays. Where he will meet his biggest nightmare, her loving, but over-the-top extroverted tech-millionaire boyfriend Laird (James Franco). Throughout the movie, their rivalry develops, and Ned’s (Bryan Cranston) panic level goes through the roof when he finds himself lost in this glamorous high-tech world.

A true worthy winner.
It would take a lot to keep a straight face while watching this movie. Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) is the head of TV talking Kazakh TV who is dispatched to the United States to report in the greatest nation in the world. Along the road, Borat becomes more interested in locating and marrying Pamela Anderson. Will he make it?
If you haven’t seen this movie, I strongly recommend that you see it!

If this Top 5 List includes movies your eyes and ears have not yet experienced, you better get to it!

You really have to see these comedies at least twice before you die. No joke.

Stay tuned for more lists on this blog in the future.

Peace.
